Our Mission

The Lakewood Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life in Lakewood, NY.

Our Past

In 2004 the Chautauqua Avenue Renewal Project was completed. It included  major improvements such as underground utilities, new street lights, new curbing and sidewalks, tree plantings, the creation of Lakewood’s iconic clock tower and Recognition Park. The 2.2 million dollar project was funded by local individuals, businesses, and foundations as well as the Town of Busti and the Village of Lakewood.

Our Future

Today, the LCDC is committed to improving the quality of life in the Village of Lakewood for all members of the community.
