Shake off the winter chill and make plans to join the Lakewood Community Development Corporation this summer for a free “Rock the Lake” concert series. Performances on stage, the concerts are the perfect way to kick back and soak in the sun.
The LCDC Hartley Park playground project is the first step in LCDC’s plan to revitalize Hartley Park in the Village of Lakewood. We believe improving Hartley Park, with its beautiful waterfront setting and proximity to Chautauqua Avenue, is the key to creating a more vibrant village.
In 2004 the Chautauqua Avenue Renewal Project was completed. It included a Main Street Master Plan and major improvements such as underground utilities, new street lights, new curbing and sidewalks, tree plantings, the creation of Lakewood’s iconic clock tower and Recognition Park.
